《工程伦理(双语)》学习指导

一、学习要求

1. 课堂要求

保证出勤率,积极参与课堂讨论。

2. 课外要求

充分利用校园网络资源,按时完成课内外作业;及时复习课堂教学内容,主动反思。

二、学习难点

采用双语教学,学生要具备一定的英文听说读写能力,能够利用工程伦理知识分析解决工程中的伦理问题,培养职业责任感。

三、学习特点

学生应该理论联系实际,积极参与,及时反思,并注重以下方面:

1. 英语学习

将英语学习与工程伦理的知识结合,不但锻炼英语听说读写水平,而且学会以英语作为工具,进行自我认识与探索。

2. 案例学习

积极参与案例讨论,关注社会有关工程伦理的时事,勇于发表自己的想法,学会倾听同学的想法,认真听取老师的点评,学会辩证思考,从中培养工程师的职业责任感。

3. 互动教学

认真参与角色扮演、模拟法庭、专家讨论法等课堂互动,学会从不同的角度看待问题,并根据课堂所学权衡轻重,提高分析解决工程中伦理问题的能力。

1. Learning requirements

(1)The part in classroom

Attendance for this course should be ensured. Take an active part in the classroom discussion.

(2) The part out of classroom

Turn the campus network resources to advantage. Finish the tasks and homework on time. Review the teaching contents timely. Think and rethink profoundly.

2. Teaching difficult points

(1) The pattern of bilingual teaching demands for excellent English ability. The students should finish the tests in English independently, say, the tests on work type, motivation, skills, internal barriers and so on.

(2) By analyzing the famous cases at home and abroad, students learn to use common knowledge of engineering ethics to analyze and solve real ethical issues, and cultivate professional responsibility.

3. Learning characteristics

The student should relate theory with practice, be an active participant and rethink timely. More are given below:

(1) English learning

Combine English learning with major selection and occupation orientation, for a purpose of enhancing the English ability as well as the language-using skills.

(2) Case-based Learning

Students should participate actively in case discussions, and concern about current affairs social engineering ethics. Students are encouraged to express their own ideas and listen to the ideas of students as well as the teacher’s reviews. Students are expected to learn dialectical thinking and cultivate professional responsibility in the process.

(3) Interactive teaching

Participate actively in the classroom interaction such as role-playing, moot court, experts discuss law and so on. Students should learn to look at the problem from different perspectives. Students should learn to weighing the pros and cons based on what they have learned in the classroom, improving the ability to analyze and solve ethical problems in engineering.
