一、课程性质、目的和任务

工程伦理课程旨在培养学生高度的工程伦理敏感性,综合地运用伦理学理论、知识和方法,对现实中复杂伦理问题进行分析的能力,培养学生的职业责任感和道德感。

On the basis of traditional engineering courses, we open new courses on engineering ethics, which are aimed at fostering high engineering ethics sensibility of the students, developing their ability of analyzing complex ethic problems in reality by using ethic theories, knowledge and methods comprehensively, and training their professional responsibility and morality.

二、教学基本要求

1.理解工程技术对社会的双刃剑意义,认识技术风险;

2.熟知常见的工程伦理问题及其解决技巧;

3.认同工程师的职业责任,接受工程师职业道德规范。

2. To Have a good knowledge of common problems and their solving methods on engineering ethics;

三、教学内容及要求

     第一模块,包括一至四讲,了解常见的工程伦理问题(共8学时),以工程伦理问题的提出和认识为教学目标;

第二模块,包括五、七、十、十一、十二、十四、十五讲,工程伦理的价值讨论(共14学时),以工程伦理案例为研究题材,通过比较案例与理论结合,探究在案例中人物应该采取的合理行为;

第三模块,包括六、八、九、十三、十六讲,自选案例公开讨论(共10学时),学生以团队的形式选取生活中的案例作为研究对象,通过全班同学的深入讨论,形成工程师职业道德规范的雏形。

English Version

Module 1: This module includes Lesson 1 to Lesson 4, during which the students can know the common problems on engineering ethics. The teaching objective is to put forward and recognize engineering ethics;

Module 2: This module includes Lesson 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15. We discuss the value of engineering ethics. Taking engineering ethics cases as study themes, we inquire the proper behavior of persons in the cases;

Module 3: This module includes Lesson 6, 8, 9, 13, 16. In this module, the students choose cases in daily life and discuss them in a group openly. The rudiment of engineers’ professional moral principles will form through thoroughly discuss in class.
