Yuli Zang, BMed, MMed (Cardiovascular Sugery), PhD, Associate Professor, Deputy Dean, School of Nursing, Shandong University

The principal course teacher has educational, practice and research experiences in the disciplinary fields of nursing, medicine and informatics. She leads the disciplinary development in nursing informatics in the school and collaborates extensively with scholars in this area in China and beyond. Her reserach focues on creative/innovative education and practice covering areas of disability, disaster, adolescent health and so forth. Over past five years, she first- or correspondence-authored eight SCI/SSCI indexed journal articles,approximately 40 articles in well-recognized nursing jouranls in China and produced two bilingual books. In addition to supervising master students and jointly supervising doctoral students, she play active roles in top nursing professional organizations, e.g. sitting in editorial board for two SCI-indexed journals, being a member at-large for the nursing section of World Association for Emergency and Disaster Medcine, being a core member in Asia Pacific Emergency and Disaster Nursing Network. It is believed that being committed at teaching, learning, research and practice is prerequisite to the successful delivery of the cross-disciplinary course, i.e. Personal and Profession Development.

Nan ZHU, Lecturer, BS, MS

Mr. Zhu has been studying and working in the field of Computer and Information Science since he obtained his Bachelor Degree in computer science from the School of Computer and Technology, Shandong University. Meantime he was awarde with Master Degree in the same disciplinary field by the same school.

As the principal technician in computer and information technology, Mr. Zhu works hard in providing continuous support to all school staff in this area when in need. He plays critical role in maintaining lab facilities and equipment in the Central Laboratory for Nursing Practice to function well that students could use the self-support intellectual management systems to book labs for psychomotor skill training.

Mr. Zhu also acts as any other academic staff to collaborate with faculty to conduct research, write and publish papers as well as supervise undergraduates. He has been involved in 10 projects, leading to the publication of two journal articles and one conference presentation about the use of computer and information technology in nursing.

In this course Mr. Zhu will support and guide students to make full use of this course website and to answer questions when in need.
